Despite recent layoffs at Telltale Games, The Wolf Among Us 2 is still in development

There have been a lot of layoffs going around the video game industry over the last week including a massive one at Epic Games impacting almost 900 employees. Today, news got out that Telltale Games had to let go of some of their team due to current market conditions and with this happening it could impact the the development speed of some of their games.

Telltale Games stated, “All projects currently in development are still in production, and we have no further updates at this time”. One of the major games Telltale has been working on is The Wolf Among Us 2 and Geoff Keighley first shared that it remains in development despite these layoffs.

“Due to current market conditions, we regrettably had to let some of our Telltale team go recently. We did not take this action lightly, and our commitment to storytelling and finding new ways to do so remains the same. We are grateful to everyone for their dedication along this journey, and we are working to support everyone impacted.
