Mortal Kombat 1 from Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios came to all platforms on September 19, 2023. Warner Bros. held their Q3 Earnings Call this week revealing they wanted to focus more on live service games going forward which could include the Mortal Kombat series as well.

During the Earnings Call, it was revealed that Mortal Kombat 1 has already nearly sold 3 million copies across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XlS, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
