Alike each year that passes, another Call of Duty is now live globally. One of the biggest takeaways from the newest entry – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – is the brief delivery to shelves. In that, developer Sledgehammer Games only worked on the game for 16 months, which is a record amount of time to deliver a Call of Duty title; let alone an AAA release. Part of this being apparent is the focus on newer content in the post-launch for the new title.

Of course, looking towards when players can jump in – that has already been ongoing with early access to campaign for pre-ordering. The same can also be said for users that gained access to the multiplayer just days before Friday. The global pre-download for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been live since November 1st last week.

Now with the title fresh on all supported systems, there has already been turmoil for select maps. According to the official Trello board for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, maps Quarry, Rundown, and Scrapyard have all been removed for poor spawning. Users are finding themselves being spawn camped and opposing players are farming kills due to this.

“Quarry, Rundown, and Scrapyard are temporarily removed from Hardpoint due to spawn issues,” the Trello board subject reads. The issue is flagged for all platforms and is marked under “Investigating” currently. So far, there has yet to be a direct address to this issue nor has Activision/Sledgehammer Games indicated when this issue is to be resolved for the aforementioned maps.

In other news pertaining to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Activision has partnered with Burger King to offer promotion items for visiting customers. Moreover, the collaboration is shared to be active in regions like Europe, Central America, and South America. You can read the full report by heading here.
