Riot Games has been developing its tag-based fighting game for a number of years now and it has been known as Project L with a demo available to play at EVO 2023 in Las Vegas. Today, Riot has revealed the official name for Project L is 2XKO and revealed plans for the year.

Throughout the year, Riot Games will be hosting playable demos across the globe including at EVO Japan in April. Additionally, the developer will be more active on social media sharing in-development work that they want the community’s input on. Lastly, there will be an at-home playtest before the end of 2024, but no other information was given on that.

The other piece of news from this announcement, 2XKO will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.
