Silent Hill 2 Remake is rumored to be at a PlayStation Showcase in May

It has been already rumored that Sony is planning a PlayStation Showcase this May and a new report from Jeff Grubb claims the Silent Hill 2 Remake will be making an appearance. This comes after the game was rated M by the ESRB and it could mean a release may come soon.

“I have heard that there will be a PlayStation Something, either State of Play or Showcase next month in May and this is probably gonna be there”, said Grubb on the Giant Bombcast.

This statement by Jeff Grubb re-confirms that Sony will be hosting something in May and it’s unknown if this will officially be their E3 show. In February, John Harker was the first insider that claimed Sony doing something earlier than the typical June showcases when Microsoft and others usually do their major presentations.

This will be a big year for Sony as the PlayStation 5 Pro is reported to release this holiday and is reported to be the most powerful console when it comes out.

The Silent Hill 2 Remake is expected to release for PlayStation 5 and PC based on the rating.
