Does XDefiant have crossplay support?

Ubisoft has finally released its free-to-play first-person shooter, XDefiant for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game has started with its preseason bringing a variety of Factions, Maps, and Game Modes for players to enjoy until Season 1 releases after six weeks. A question for many players for XDefiant is if it has crossplay support.

Is Crossplay Supported In XDefiant?

XDefiant does have crossplay support between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Crossplay is enabled by default in the game so if you wanted to change you’d have to go to Settings > Matchmaking & Account then change the setting to Off. For Xbox players, you can change this setting through your console settings.

Does XDefiant have cross-progression?

XDefiant does have cross-progression and that’s thanks to Ubisoft Connect which is required to play Ubisoft games online. If you wanted to switch from Xbox to PS5 you’ll just need to sign in with the same Ubisoft account and some of the in-game content will be shared across platforms. What matters most is your player and weapon progression and that will go with you from platform to platform.
