Dynasty Warriors: Origins comes to PlayStation 5 in 2025

Sony held its second State of Play presentation on Thursday, May 30, 2024, which revealed new games coming to PlayStation 5, PSVR 2, and PC. Some familiar games like God of War Ragnarok and Until Dawn were announced to arrive on PC later this year and there were some new surprises. Dynasty Warriors: Origins was announced at the presentation with a release coming in 2025 for PlayStation 5.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is being developed by Omega Force, a team that is assured to have a fresh start with this game. The developer made it aware to everyone that they are back to prove with Origins to redefine expectations for those who have been fans of the classic hack-and-slash roots the series has been to before.

Dynasty Warriors have always been based around the exhilaration of 1 vs 1,000 gameplay and they are returning to these roots to deliver “non-stop action that not only our most loyal fans of the series but to all game fans worldwide”.

“In Dynasty Warriors: Origins, we’ve been able amplify the feeling of tension on the battlefield while also being able to deliver the epic sense of exhilaration after overcoming the odds in the most thrilling warfare we’ve ever been able to create.”

Dynasty Warriors: Origins will take advantage of what the PlayStation 5 has to offer and will create an all-new Warriors-like battlefield where you are challenged by huge armies as far as you can see.
