Fallout 76 has reached 20 million total players

Fallout has gained more popularity since the Prime Video TV Series was released on April 10, 2024. When the video game adaptation went live it inspired thousands of players to hop back on all of the games including Fallout 3, Fallot New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76. It turns out that it helped out Fallout 76 as the game has officially crossed 20 million total players in its lifetime.

When Will A New Fallout Game Come Out?

With the success of Fallout as of late, Bethesda reaffirmed that new games for Fallout are in the pipeline, but a timeline remains unknown. It has also been reported that Microsoft wants Fallout 5 to come sooner rather than later because as of now Bethesda is planning to release Elder Scrolls 6 in the next few years and that would push Fallout 5 to the early 2030s.

Fallout 76 is the most recent mainline game to come out which was in 2018. It will likely be over 10 years between major Fallout games unless magic can be worked at Xbox Game Studios. Microsoft now owns many studios that could take on the project, but would that be the right move?
