The Behemoth held a livestream on Friday, July 26, revealing a roadmap of updates coming to existing games from the developer and publisher. One of the biggest surprises during the event was a new DLC for Castle Crashers.

Castle Crashers Painter Boss Paradise DLC will come to PC via Steam soon. This will be the first DLC Castle Crashers has seen since 2012 when the Blacksmith and Pink Knight playable character packs were released.

The Painter Boss Paradise DLC will feature the following:

  • Steam workshop capabilities – create your own knight skins, choose your preferred magic, and share with the world!
  • New official character – play as Paint Junior, use your imagination, and create powerful art to vanquish your foes!
  • New player and weapon artwork for all official playable characters (with an option to toggle on or off).

A trailer for the Castle Crashers Painter Boss Paradise was also shared on YouTube:

A release date for this surprise content has not been announced and for now, it will only be coming to PC.
