Earth Defense Force 6 has sold over 600K units

D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot finally brought Earth Defense Force 6 worldwide last Summer on PlayStation 5 and PC. We reviewed the latest entry in the series suggesting it being one of the best in the series.

It was announced earlier in the week that total sales for Earth Defense Force 6 have passed 600K units worldwide. The game first arrived in Japan on August 25, 2022, for PS5 and PS4 followed by the worldwide release on July 25, 2024. The game sold 50,000 units since September 2024.

Earth Defense Force 6 still has some work to do in order to reach the 1 million sales milestone its predecessor reached. It’s already halfway there and will likely either tie or beat Earth Defense Force 5.
