Assassin’s Creed Shadows physical copies are being sold early

Ubisoft is planning to release Assassin’s Creed Shadows on March 20, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game was originally planned to be released in Fall of 2024, but it was delayed to February and then it got delayed to its current release date.

It turns out physical copies of Assassin’s Creed Shadows are being sold early with a little less than a month to spare. This is according to Reddit user, Ajxtt, someone purchased the PS5 copy of Shadows and uploaded proof with the game being fully playable for him.

The user confirms Animus Anomalies are returning. The individual who bought the game says he is loving it so far and “it’s the best Assassin’s Creed since Black Flag”

While there are copies out in the wild beware of spoilers going around the internet up until the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This is a situation that Ubisoft likely can’t control and it remains to be known which regions are receiving these early units.
