
Today, Microsoft made the announcement that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be coming to PlayStation 5 this Summer. The release would also coincide with an enhanced upgrade for Xbox Series X and PC. This will mark the third Xbox game coming to PS5 this year.
We have already seen Forza Horizon 5 and Indiana Jones and The Great Circle release on PlayStation 5 in April. There will be even more Xbox games coming with Gears of War: Reloaded, and Halo has been rumored.
Microsoft has not forgotten about the Nintendo Switch platform either. According to The Verge, “Microsoft is working on some Xbox ports for Nintendo Switch 2,” which we should hear about soon.
In 2024, two Xbox games came to the Switch with Pentiment and Grounded. Sea of Thieves or Hi-Fi Rush have not been confirmed to release on the Switch 2 yet, but that’s very likely as well.
There had been previous reports that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is among many games coming to the Switch 2 and PS5 eventually. Nintendo has also been strict on devkits for certain publishers and developers. It remains to be known if any of Microsoft’s owned studios had access to a Switch 2 devkit in the last few months.
