Bandai Namco has once again made an appearance at Summer Game Fest with a surprise reveal of Code Vein 2, the next major action RPG and a follow-up to the 2019 hit Code Vein. Code Vein 2 will release in 2026 for Xbox Series, PS5, and PC via Steam.

The debut trailer for Code Vein 2 introduces a post-apocalyptic world where memories of loss echo across time, and the fate of the Revenants and humanity hangs by a thread. Featuring dynamic action with strategic combat, explorable environments, intense boss battles, and memorable characters that drive the rich narrative forward, players are called to wield time itself as a weapon.

In Code Vein 2, players will embark on a journey through a world that spans two eras, where every decision matters and each battle tests their skill and resolve. This action RPG offers unique gameplay, allowing players to drain blood from enemies to unlock powerful skills. Players can build strategies for combat using Blood Codes and employ distinctive weapons and equipment called Jails to defeat challenging foes and epic bosses. Additionally, players can form bonds with powerful Partner allies who join them in battle and enhance their abilities. Each Partner has unique skills and deep narrative connections that shape the player’s journey.
