Pokemon GO has been downloaded approximately 75 Million times.

Pokemon GO might have broken another milestone, as we all know it had about 14 million downloads in the US within the first week alone. Now, an analytics firm has estimated that the game is at 75 million downloads worldwide.
Sensor Tower has stated that the game is the fastest ever to reach 50 million global downloads across iOS and Android devices alone.
Randy Nelson, head of mobile insights for Sensor Tower has stated this:

“Pokemon GO is in a class by itself for first-month mobile game downloads.”
“To date, the game has been launched in just 32 of the more than 100 markets in which the App Store and Google Play operate, with more on the way. In all available App Store territories, the game is ranked No. 1 for downloads and revenue, including France and Hong Kong, its two most recently added regions.”

He had also compared the game to another “top mobile game” in Candy Crush which got 50 million installs within the first 3-4 months.
Niantic is blown away by the response by the fans as they stated at their San Diego Comic Con panel just a few days ago now. They have updates planned for the future such as trading and they are looking into adding more Pokestops and gyms. Read more
