UPDATE: It has now been reported by Insider Gaming that Battlefield 6 will be revealed on July 31st, and the event will be similar to a COD NEXT event that Activision normally hosts prior to a Call of Duty reveal. Media and Content Creators will play the game two days before the reveal and will likely share feedback once July 31 comes around.
Original: There has been a lot of anticipation for the next Battlefield project based on the alpha testing that has been going on for the last few months. Content creators are starting to receive care packages from EA and on the package it’s confirmed the next mainline title will be Battlefield 6.
According to X (Twitter) user, RivaLxfactor, EA is planning to host a 3-day event that will start on July 29. This would be where Battlefield 6 will be revealed and where developers will be interviewed in a “fixed format.” The event will also feature popular content creators playing the game.

The user also shared that an open beta will be released shortly after this event. It’s unclear if this beta will be for consoles or PC only.
Electronic Arts already said that the next Battlefield game will be released before April 1, 2026. The new Battlefield Studios is led by Vince Zampella known for his leadership on Apex Legends and Titanfall which provides high hopes for the future of the Battlefield series.
The development team is composed of multiple studios – Ripple Effect, EA Motive, DICE, and Criterion Games.
EA has not revealed the 3-day event yet, but we should know soon since content creators are being sent out invitations.
