EA Sports NHL 26 Reveals Cover Athlete, Full Game Reveal Set for August 6

It was about time that EA Sports revealed the official cover athlete for NHL 26. It was revealed that Florida Panthers forward and two-time Stanley Cup Champion, Matthew Tkachuk, will be the official cover star for EA Sports NHL 26.

The cover art shows Tkachuk raising the Stanley Cup at his home arena. It looks to be a shot taken during the ceremony moments after they won the championship.

Electronic Arts also announced that the official reveal of NHL 26 will go down on Wednesday, August 6, on YouTube at 12:00 PM ET. During this reveal, we’ll likely get to see what game modes will be featured, what they are really pushing for the game this time around.,

We should also learn what platforms NHL 26 will release on. Lately, we have seen Madden NFL 26 and FC 26 get releases on the Nintendo Switch 2. Could we finally see an NHL game launch on the Nintendo platform for the first time in well over 10 years?
