In the latest Nintendo Direct held in September 2025, Nintendo revealed the next classic library coming to the Switch. Virtual Boy is coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 for online members who purchase the Expansion Pack membership.
In order to play Virtual Boy on Nintendo Switch, you will need a peripheral that is required to play this Nintendo Classics library.
The Cost Of Virtual Boy Accessory
The Virtual Boy peripheral will be arriving in February 2026, and there will be two options for players to choose from in order to enjoy these classics.
You can purchase the Virtual Boy for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 for $99.99 for the most authentic experience.
There is also the Virtual Boy cardboard model at a cheaper price of $24.99.
Pre-orders are not available for the Virtual Boy accessory. Once they are, it will go live on My Nintendo Store.
Virtual Boy comes to Nintendo Switch Online on February 17, 2026, with a variety of games to play, including 3D Tetris, Golf, and more.
