Stardew Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition releases this fall

ConcernedApe announced Stardew Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition during the latest Nintendo Direct. The upgraded version of Stardew Valley will release this fall. Players who own the game on Switch can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for free via an upgrade pack.

Stardew Valley on Nintendo Switch 2 will feature mouse controls, four-player split-screen co-op play, and support for eight-player online mode. Lastly, it will have GameShare for up to four friends.

Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, it’s time to set out and begin your new life in Stardew Valley. Learn to live off the land and turn overgrown fields into a thriving home. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of this cozy farm game includes mouse controls, four player split-screen cooperative play, and support for eight player online mode. And with GameShare, up to four friends can play if one person has the game.

Stardew Valley first came to the Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2017. A release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has not been announced yet.

In other news, popular indie game Overcooked 2 is also getting a Switch 2 Edition this Winter.
