Old School RuneScape players have achieved 99 Sailing in just five days

On Wednesday, November 19, Jagex released the first new skill in Old School RuneScape since its release in 2013. Sailing is by far the game’s biggest content update, and so far, the skill looks like an easy one to grind to the max.

Multiple players in Old School RuneScape have already started to achieve 99 Sailing, and the first was accomplished by AsianGrinder on Sunday, which was just 5 days after the skill’s release. Jagex made it official on social media Sunday morning.

A day later, over 35 players on Old School RuneScape have achieved 99 Sailing, with many more coming. While many have worried that Sailing would be a long grind similar to Agility and Runecrafting, it seems that the new skill isn’t as long a grind. 

Jagex has mentioned that this is the first new skill and will likely have more new skill ideas in the future for the community to vote on.
