Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics Launch Library Revealed

Nintendo is preparing to release the next installment of the Nintendo Classics library, featuring the Virtual Boy, on February 17, 2026. The Virtual Boy app will be released for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members for Switch 2. It will not be available on Switch 1.

Over the year, there will be updates coming to the classics library, including being able to change the screen color in Virtual Boy.

There are two unreleased games for the Virtual Boy that will be available later this year. Below is a list of the seven games available at launch:

• 3-D TETRIS
• Galactic Pinball
• GOLF
• The Mansion of Innsmouth
• RED ALARM
• Teleroboxer
• Virtual Boy Wario Land

There will be even more games coming to the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics library in 2026:

• D-HOPPER (previously unreleased)
• Mario Clash
• Mario’s Tennis
• Jack Bros.
• SPACE INVADERS VIRTUAL COLLECTION
• VERTICAL FORCE
• Virtual Bowling
• V-TETRIS
• ZERO RACERS (previously unreleased)

Zero Racers is essentially an F-Zero game that was never released before for the console. The official Virtual Boy accessory is available to pre-order for the Switch 2, which is $99.99, and the cardboard model is $24.99
