RedOctane Games, the studio that was founded in 2025 by music rhythm gaming veterans, hardware innovators, and leading creators from the rhythm community, announced Stage Tour, a new era for music rhythm gaming.
Stage Tour is a long-term platform created in conjunction with the community. It features new instruments, controller and keyboard compatibility, and deep gameplay mechanics, with note charts optimized depending on the type of instrument or controller used.
The game will be highly accessible for newcomers while also catering to the veterans of rhythm games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
Further gameplay details and the first content reveals will be shown in the coming months, says RedOctane. Closed Alpha testing will start in summer 2026.
Confirmed instruments include Microphones, Drums, and Guitar controllers.

RedOctane Games also announced a multi-year partnership with Gibson, bringing Gibson, Epiphone, and Kramer brands directly into the game.
“For a generation of players, rhythm games transformed music from something you listened to into something you lived—inspiring countless people to pick up real instruments and explore their creativity,” says Taylor Berryman, Sr. Manager, Lifestyle & Licensing at Gibson. “Stage Tour is the next evolution of that influence. We’re thrilled to partner with RedOctane to reimagine what rhythm gaming can be and to spark deeper connection, creativity, and a lifelong love of music for generations to come.”
Stage Tour is scheduled to release in Fall 2026. Platforms have yet to be revealed.
