Sony has always done well in Europe, and now with the PlayStation 4 Sony holds 70% of the market share in Germany, which is far more then Microsoft and Nintendo hold. Borse Online has reported that Sony sold 3.2 million PS4 units in Germany since the release back in 2013, while Microsoft and Nintendo are fighting for second place with 75,000 units sold for the Nintendo Wii U and 710,00 for the Xbox One. Microsoft has discounted the Xbox One since it’s release in 2013 with price cuts and deals and while the Xbox One S  is most likely going to win the NDP for Microsoft in September in the US, Europe is going to be a harder battle for Microsoft if history is anything to go by.
