EA Sports announced UFC 6 is launching on June 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with pre-orders now live on the digital storefronts. It had been reported that the game is in active development for PC but it has not been announced. There is one other platform missing – Nintendo Switch 2.
Could UFC 6 Release On Nintendo Switch 2?
EA Sports has not officially mentioned the Nintendo Switch 2. However, based on the official promotions for UFC 6, it will not be launching for the Switch 2 right now. You can never rule out the future but it seems highly unlikely.
It’s an interesting move for EA Sports since Madden NFL 26 saw great success on the Switch 2 platform. There are plenty of reasons why it’s not releasing, such as whether the team has development kits for the console.
EA looks to be planning for a Madden NFL 27 release this year as well on the Switch 2 and most likely for its FC series. It’s unclear if EA Sports plans to bring its other sports games, such as NHL, to the platform at this time.
