UPDATE: Jagex has officially announced that RuneScape: Dragonwilds will come to Nintendo Switch 2 during the Nintendo Direct on June 9, 2026. It will release on September 15, 2026 alongside the XBOX and PS5 versions.

Jagex officially announced during the June State of Play presentation that RuneScape Dragonwilds will be coming to PlayStation 5. This marks the first time that a RuneScape game will be coming to consoles. It will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 15, 2026.
Will RuneScape Dragonwilds Come To Switch 2?
While it’s exciting to know RuneScape Dragonwilds is coming to PlayStation 5, oddly enough, Jagex has not spoken about a potential Switch 2 version of the game yet. For now, it looks like the game will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
RuneScape Dragonwilds would make perfect sense for Nintendo Switch 2 because of its Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. It would almost be a match made in heaven for the game and the console. We’ll have to wait and see what Jagex has planned for the future of RuneScape on consoles.
