Minecraft Dungeons II Arrives This September For XBOX, PS5, Switch 1 & 2, PC

Minecraft on its own is a special type of phenomenon. The main game towers alongside the likes of Tetris & Pokémon and even continues to be a popular experience amongst all age groups. There is also the popularity of the movies. Recently, it was confirmed that the second film will officially be titled ‘A Minecraft Movie – Squared’ and release in 2027.

As for its other entities, Minecraft Dungeons has proven to be a sizable success for the IP too. In 2023, it was revealed that over 25 million players have touched the dungeon crawler spin-off to some extent. And, there is still more on the way too. In March, Mojang Studios properly announced that Minecraft Dungeons II is in development.

Now this weekend at the XBOX Games Showcase, Mojang Studios & XBOX Game Studios revealed that Minecraft Dungeons II is set to release this September for all major consoles & PC. You can watch the new reveal trailer in the video below:

“This means clashing with menacing foes in explosive encounters and fighting your way through hordes of mobs that will do everything in their power to stop you. In classic Minecraft Dungeons fashion, you’ll be able to craft your perfect hero with items you’ll acquire on your trip, including everything from weapons and armor to artifacts, talismans, and other legendary gear!  The challenges will be tougher than ever, and the best way to face them is completely up to you! You can either brave the unknown on your own or team with up with up to 3 players in online or couch co-op. And with a party of 4, you’ll be able to smash any blue-charged foe with the power of teamwork!”
