Microsoft gave $930 worth of games on Xbox Live Gold in 2016

The Xbox Games with Gold promotion began back in 2013 with the Xbox 360 and eventually started on the Xbox One after the launch of it. In 2016 alone Microsoft gave away 48 games and that’s including the month of December. Games with Gold is a great way to grow your BC list on Xbox One because every month the 2 Xbox 360 games are BC.
Microsoft gave away some great games this year such as Sunset Overdrive, Burnout Paradise, Borderlands, Gears of War 2, and so much more to expand your library. The total value of the 48 games given away was $932.62 and it was about the same in 2015.
As the years go on we expect even more Xbox One games to be apart of Games with Gold that launched on the console day one November 22, 2013 such as Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3, Zoo Tycoon, etc.
