PM Studios and Gameplay Group have announced that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has been delayed for XBOX Series consoles to September 3, 2026. The game released today, July 23, 2026 for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
In the statement made on social media, the developers also mentioned that the Nintendo Switch version will be available as the Standard Edition only. Crossplay will not be available with other platforms will this version as well.
“For the Xbox community, we are forced to delay the release. Due to unforeseen circumstances on a backend feature, we will now launch by September 3. Existing pre-orders will remain active and will not be canceled”, said Gameplay Group.
This wasn’t the first time we have seen Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game canceled. In June, it was announced to be delayed from early July to later in the month. They hosted a beta on all platforms and it seems the game needs some more polishing on the XBOX version.
