Report: God of War has sold over 5 million copies in its first month

God of War has been out now for over a month on PlayStation 4 and within its first three days it surpassed 3.1 million copies sold on the market. While there hasn’t been another official update since then, John Kodera has gone on record and updated the sales figures for the PlayStation exclusive.
CEO of SIE John Kodera’s PlayStation report at Sony Investor’s Day, John mentions that God of War has sold more than 5 MILLION copies since release on April 20, 2018.
