With the recent announcement of DICE’s latest Battlefield title and the controversy surrounding it, both good and bad, the studio is hard at work creating new content for the upcoming WWII first-person shooter.
When DICE recently that Battlefield V will not have a premium pass and have loot boxes with only purchasable cosmetics, the team has to go in a different direction to get fans excited for new content. And with this latest announcement of a new multiplayer mode, DICE seems they shouldn’t have a problem at grabbing their fan’s attention.

Known as “Airborne”, this gametype will have players divided into attacking and defending. Those attacking will parachute into enemy territory and sabotage opposing artillery. While those defending must fight off those who are to destroy their equipment. Along with this gamemode, DICE has also confirmed that conquest will be returning with a tune up for this time around as well.
Battlefield V is among other titles that we have covered that will be marketed by Xbox and more to be revealed a little more than a week away at the E3 Xbox Conference.
