Along with developing Rage 2, Avalanche Studios is now in the process of bringing a 80’s robot shooter to us in 2019.
Revealed today was a trailer of the game, in-engine, of what the game is all about. With a group of survivors travelling through 80’s-based Sweden in the trailer until confronted by hostile machines that sparked a firefight.
With the name Generation Zero, you up to four players can roam the countryside in search for survival against the dominating machines. Where stealth and strategy are key components to you staying alive. Each enemy has a purpose in this world and players must figure out their weaknesses to live another day. But they will learn from their mistakes either it’s losing armor or sensory equipment, they will be prepared for the next fight.

And for it being Avalanche, the worlds they create are known to being massive in both depth and visual aesthetic. So finally being able to not only bring a buddy, but three people with you in your adventures will really influence a good journey in the new world they are making. Figure out what actually happened to bring you to this word, develop new tactics and even lure enemies for better loot.
As for now, there is no other news on what platforms Generation Zero might be on or a specific date to see a release for the newly announced title.
