Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate

Today Ubisoft had a live event for their upcoming game Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Previously leaked as Victory a few months back, set in Victorian England. You play as Jacob Frye, born in 1847 and trained by the assassins. But for the first time, you can play as a female assassin, Jacob’s twin sister, Evie Frye. Jacob plans to take back England from the Criminal Underworld of London during the Industrial Revolution. Jacob is a new character to the series and brings a new arsenal with him as well. With weapons like the kukri knife, brass knuckles, revolver and the sword cane. Also a new rope launcher that helps you scale buildings and zip line from rooftop to rooftop. You’ll also be able to interact with the world like hanging crates to eliminate your enemy. Due to the setting of the game, there are new options of transportation such as horse carriages and trains. Seen in the Pre-Alpha gameplay video, Jacob had to chase Bloody Nora, one of the seven Templar gang leaders in the game. Chasing her, leading to a gang war and giving us a look at the new combat system as well. Unlike Assassin’s Creed: Unity, there will only be a single player story. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will be available on October 23rd, 2015 for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
