Originally announced back in 2014, Endnight Games’ The Forest was announced for the PlayStation 4. But rounding four years later the survival title is finally making its way to Sony’s console.

Given the role as a father on the search for your son, you must survive in the surrounding forest that your plane crashed in. When surviving the first night, you soon find out there’s something more living within the newly discovered landscape.

Given the total amount of freedom available, players can go on in the game’s story with a different experience as there’s no real guidelines. With options like hunting and building, each playthrough can be unique in its own way. Along with the game’s multiplayer, you up to four friends can go and find your recently lost son.

The Forest will be available for PlayStation 4 on November 6, 2018.
