The kickstarted online thriller Friday The 13th: The Game has been on a rollercoaster of surprises since its launch back in March of last year. The biggest shock being the indefinite halt on incoming content for the game.
Now revealed by the game’s official Twitter that the game will at least get dedicated services for the game in a future update when asked by a fan.
They'll be in the next update for consoles.

Dedicated servers will be the source to fix any lag or performance issues the players have faced since the launch of the game. Fan have been more excited for this announcement following the cut in development as not even assets like trees and rocks cannot be added to the game at all. So Gun Media’s main focus will be to deliver a better experience for devoted fans of the game.
When we might expect to see the upcoming update wasn’t disclosed in the tweet. So players who have been patient will have to wait a bit longer. But this should give hope as this continues to confirm the arrival of dedicated servers for Gun Media’s title.
Friday the 13th: The Game is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
