Following a supposed release date leak for the upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3, it has now been officially confirmed by Nintendo that the game will launch on October 31st, Halloween. This is the perfect release date for the game as you’ll be able to explore the haunted hotel with the surrounded ambiance of the Holiday. New features in the third iteration of the franchise include a co-op enabled Gooigi character that can do things that Luigi himself wouldn’t be able to, an 8 player online co-op ScareScraper mode, and a variety of new moves at Luigi’s disposal using the new and improved Poltergust G-00.

This continues the diverse selection of games that Nintendo has in the pipeline for 2019, with upcoming titles like Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Astral Chain leading the charge for the rest of the Summer. With the Nintendo Switch Lite launching this September, fans have lots to look forward to for the console both this year and beyond.
