Today at Microsoft’s Gamescom press conference they showed off a game that has had some through development trouble and that is Homefront: The Revolution. Microsoft provided few details for the co-op, but it will feature players teaming up to form rebel cells to fight against occupying forces. The demo will be available this winter.

Homefront: The Revolution takes place after the first Homefront game, which means that you play in a United States that’s been occupied by North Korean forces. As a result, you essentially take control of an American nationalist rebel. It looks like an intriguing concept: you must play as an under-equipped soldier who is fighting back with what’ll most likely be a group of American guerrillas, attempting to wrest control of the country away from North Korea.
