Beat Games’ rhythmic light saber title Beat Saber continues to give what the players want as the game blossoms even further in contrast to the game’s initial release last year. Just this May, the developer granted users the highly-requested level editor so users could incorporate their own media to play the virtual reality experience. Now, yet another long-awaited feature has been released for the project.

In conjunction with this year’s latest Game Awards show last week, punk rock group Green Day performed at the yearly awards ceremony and during also revealed a sample of the band’s new music pack that will be dropping for Beat Saber that same day.

Songs included with the new $8.99 music pack are:

  • American Idiot
  • Boulevard of Broken Dreams
  • Father of All
  • Fire, Ready, Aim
  • Holiday
  • Minority

However, along with this new lineup of music that will be available that day, Beat Games also revealed that support for 360° & 90° levels will be dropping for the game as well. On exception that should be noted is that the update will only ship out to users on HTC Vive, Steam Index, and Oculus regarding 360°, PlayStation VR owners will be left out primarily due the headset being unable to provide essential for tracking, but 90° tracks will at least be implemented on Sony’s console.

Although this new feature will provide players with the ability to play Beat Saber in virtually any direction now, this is only limited to a select handful of songs and the difficulty it is arranged with. Here are the slew of tracks that will be supported:

Easy: Beat Saber, Turn Me On, I Need You, Till It’s Over
Normal: $100 Bills, Commercial Pumping, Believer, Origins, Immortal, Father of All…
Hard: Legend, Believer, Thunder, High Hopes, Crab Rave, Holiday
Expert: Country Rounds, LVL Insane, Unlimited Power, EPIC, Emperor’s New Clothes, Origins
Expert+: Balearic Pumping, Breezer, Glide, Origins, Overkill

Do you plan on dropping back into Beat Saber for these new additions?

Beat Saber is out now for HTC Vive, Microsoft Mixed Reality, Oculus Rift, Oculus Quest, and PlayStation VR.
