Reflecting on PlayStation 4 titles that are currently underway for release to PC later this summer, we currently look at Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding and Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn. However, there is also heavy speculation which suggest that more projects are also in the works as well.
While previous rumors have been debunked earlier on in April following the mass of faked listings on Amazon France, word still stuck regarding FromSoftware’s Bloodborne. Many fans have continued to wait in hopes to see a sequel later on following the success of the initial title, but that does not look to be a guaranteed proposition. According to Director Hidetaka Miyazaki in an interview, he touts Bloodborne to be his favorite property, however, conjuring a follow-up is not for him to make the decision for.
But despite the unlikliness of another entry to release after the 2015 title, it is a different story for the PC version of the game. According to @CaseyExplosion on Twitter, she disclosed in a recent tweet that Sony Interactive Entertainment planned to reveal the PC translation for Bloodborne this week. She adds that there would also be a remastered version for the coming PlayStation 5.
Furthermore she goes onto explain that the reveal was scheduled for the PlayStation 5 showcase that would have taken place on June 4, but was pulled to back the ongoing protests for the justice of George Floyd and overall Black Americans. This claim also looks to correspond with another industry insider elsewhere this week.
Around the same time, Imran Khan also took to Twitter to share a similar tale. While he does not explicitly mentions the PC version to be definite, he does tell that fans will be happy with what is planned later on. In a later tweet, Khan goes on to explain in a response which shares that this supposed project for Bloodborne might not even arrive this year, stating “things that people think are hitting 2020 might not hit 2020 or even be shown in 2020.”
What do you think might arrive for the Bloodborne if these claims later come to fruition?
Bloodborne is currently available for PlayStation 4.
