Over the course of 2025, Microsoft has gradually issued new presentations for its upcoming projects & collaborations. Kicking off the year, we saw this with the release of its annual Xbox Developer_Direct then: showcasing titles like Ninja Gaiden 4 & Avowed. Additionally, fans were also greeted with its Xbox Games Showcase in June followed by its Gamescom attendance that following August.
Delving into the fall season, there was also a Tokyo Game Show presentation in September which featured games Hotel Barcelona, Forza Horizon 6, and Kojima Productions OD. Also, Microsoft’s ID@Xbox program partnered with IGN for another featured presentation on upcoming indie titles as well which ship for the platform as well as Xbox Game Pass.
What has been surprising absent is an Xbox Partner Preview – the last being held back in October 2024. Well, Microsoft has announced a new showcase is to be held later this week featuring a lineup of exciting new additions underway in collaboration with Xbox. Of course, this will be explicitly a third-party presentation.
“During Xbox Partner Preview, we’ll show you an exciting first look at content coming to 007 First Light, an electrifying extended gameplay trailer for the upcoming dark fantasy epic Tides of Annihilation, and a fresh look at Reanimal, the new horror adventure from the creator of Little Nightmares, among other great games heading to Xbox consoles, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Game Pass.”
