In the continuing playbook for Ubisoft, 2023 will certainly be an interesting year. For starters, its plans to roll out Assassin’s Creed Mirage – a new entry which revisits the roots of the IP – is slated to ship this year. Additionally, the firm even has plans to roll out new information for its Star Wars project. The game is said to be an open-world RPG with The Division team Massive Entertainment at the helm.
Elsewhere, word has it Ubisoft+ is to continue branching out. In that, the service is to expand to Xbox, claims say. But, there is some calamity too. The firm in a recent statement addressed another delay for Skull & Bones. Not only that, it is indicated a few unannounced titles were also shelved indefinitely as well.
Despite the amount of noise already, the publisher is to start with a bang. After decades of being unique to PC, Anno 1800 is to officially hit console this March. You can watch the official trailer in the video below:
“Anno 1800 is a great success story for the studio and the Anno brand,” StĂ©phane Jankowski, executive producer says. “The popularity and the success of the game on PC gave us the opportunity to develop a console version of the game, thanks to the power of the current generation of consoles. Bringing our most successful Anno game to consoles is a real chance for us to let new players discover our award-winning game for the first time and join our amazing community.”
There will be two versions available at release: the standard edition which comes with the base game and the deluxe edition.
