Discover everything you need to know about defeating Queen in Arc Raiders, including the best loadout and strategies.
Queen in Arc Raiders is a boss-level enemy, essentially a huge, heavily armed robotic enemy. The Queen uses homing rockets, a sweeping laser attack, and can ground‑slam you. You will encounter additional enemies like Wasp and Rocketeers that complicate the fight. Bring heavy launchers/rocket weapons, high‑penetration rifles, and EMP/grenades if possible. You’ll want multiple players rotating aggro, focusing on weak spots, and managing the adds.
While the Queen is the primary target, neglecting the smaller enemies can overwhelm your team. Kill or suppress them to make the main fight manageable. When she transitions into attack phases, that’s your window. Focus on positioning, suppress the smaller enemies, and start chipping leg joint weakness. In this guide, we’ll discuss how to defeat Queen in Arc Raiders, including some useful tips and tricks.
Queen Location in Arc Raiders

You can find it currently on the Spaceport and the Damn Battlegrounds. Currently, it’s at the spaceport. For the location in the spaceport, it spawns right between the Maintenance Hangar and Staff Parking below Vehicle Maintenance. In this location is a tower that overlooks her. So, you fight it from that tower or within the actual harvester itself.
For the damn battlegrounds, it spawns over by the East Broken Bridge in the Red Waters. There is a window room that looks at it from, you fight it from the harvester, which is a great option. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter which map it’s on in terms of doing it as a team. But if you want to solo it, I strongly recommend the Dam Battlegrounds map because the Spaceport one is much riskier.
Best Weapons Against Queen

Use the Hullcracker as the best weapon to take. Even more reliable than the special weapons. To get the Hullcracker, you need to come to the gun shop and purchase a cracker once a day, a cracker for 30,000. The whole cracker can be upgraded all the way to level four as usual, and this gives it increased fire rate up to 53% increase the fire rate. This will massively impact your kill time because you’re able to put out a lot more shots a lot quicker.
Anvil is the second-best option to choose, with its heavy ammo. Special weapons are also going to work here, as they’re going to be great with their special energy ammo to strip armor. However, their output is going to be less than the Hullcracker, which, by the way, requires less risk and investment to run.
Best Equipment for Queen

In terms of kit, then I’d strongly recommend you bring at least one Wolf Pack in case a rocketeer gets in the way as a fast kill for it. I also recommend Ziplines to quickly get towards one of the hatch extracts or reposition, should you need to. Definitely bring at least one raider hatch key in the team so you can leave one of the nearby extracts and secure your loot. It’s an easy craft or 9k easily worth.
Bring twice the amount of healing you normally would. So, if you would bring five shield recharges, bring 10. If you bring five bandages or whatever bandage you’re running, bring more. Then a backup item for a fast panic button, like surge shield recharges, vit spray, and that kind of thing.
In regards to your Shield, I’d recommend a medium or heavy at a minimum. You’re going to want an augment that gives you more than one safe slot if you can. This is to secure the win and put the queen reactors straight in there. The augment that I prefer gives me three safe pockets, is probably the best option for that reason, the Tactical Mark III. It also allows medium shields, so it’s just fantastic, including these augment slots for healing items.
Queen Mechanics in Arc Raiders

In terms of mechanics and weaknesses, it’s pretty simple. She doesn’t have a lot of attacks. She has an EMP, which is like a big blue bubble around herself. It will clean out your shields and stun you for a bit, like you’ve been electrocuted. You can line a sight this using the harvester. She will physically stand on you with her legs, dealing some physical damage.
She will do her different laser shots, a charged beam that leaves fire on the ground. This you definitely want to run away from, or worse, the rapid-fire shots, which, if they hit you in succession, will wipe you out. Lastly, she has the mortar fire, where she fires multiple rockets into the air. They land and, after a delay, explode in fire. It’s actually a good DPS window if you get out of the way before the explosion.
Target Priority
Your goal is to hit the face plate, the sensor where the laser opens up when she’s charging that up, and the red light where her mouth would be. Smash her face basically the whole run. If you want, you can also target the legs, break off the armor, and target the yellow joints. This will reduce her movement and make her an easier shot.
I don’t think it’s worth the time personally if you’re using the harvester strat, where you can easily go out and just shoot the face the whole time. You have two people fighting from one door, and someone up top at one of the windows just constantly bouncing aggro while you shoot the face.
Solo the Queen

What you need to solo the Queen is not just the right setup and plan and timing and all that, but it’s also quite a bit of luck as well. So, I cannot emphasize enough how risky it is to attempt to solo this versus just doing it in a two-man or a three-man team.
Ultimately, being inside the harvester is the safest way because you have a base to deal with players as they push you. When you’re doing it in a team, you can kill it so quickly, you can wait as long as possible for minimal interruption. If you still want to try soloing it, this is what you have to do to solo her.
You need to do it on the Dam Battlegrounds for the window tower spot. So, if you imagine three players can kill it in 4 minutes, if you do it solo, where nothing goes wrong, and no one interrupts you, you can do it in three times that amount. So, 12 minutes at a minimum.
Anywhere from 15 to 20 is what I would recommend. So, you need the buffer to kill, loot, and leave. You want to wait in the raid as long as you can before starting the fight to make it less likely that people come and vulture.
How To Set Up for the Fight

You’ll need two door blockers at a minimum for the Dam Battlegrounds map. Bring yourself to the raider outpost east and go into the room that faces it with a long window. There are two doors in there that you’ll go to and block with the door blockers. An extra layer you can do is to set up a reinforcement, like a barricade, in front of each door. On top of that, you can set up mines around the door.
But be wary because obviously the AoE nature of the queen could trigger these and cause them to explode. So maybe be minimalistic with those explosives you put down, or just wait to put them down. Then you will jump onto the window, sort of ledge, and begin firing down on her.
Hold the left side or the right side. Then, when she shoots at you, move to the left or the right and then repeat. When you need cover, just go out of line of sight, heal up, recover, and go again. If you hear someone starting to break one of the doors, immediately place one of the mines at that door, back up, and destroy them the moment you see them.
Tips And Tricks To Kill Queen
Below are the best tips and tricks to kill Queen in Arc Raiders.
Hit the Queen from a Distance

Once you place these two door blockers, you can then go ahead and fight in peace. There are a couple of solid angles to take shots at her. Don’t stand behind the window trying to shoot her, as your whole cracker will probably just end up hitting the window. Instead, jump on the ledges of these windows and take shots at her from this angle. Once she engages, either by firing her rockets or her laser, swap to the window in the far back right. As you make your way there, you can reload your hullcracker and just maximize your efficiency.
Window Attack

Once she engages the window, you can then go ahead and pivot back to the other window again and continue going back and forth between these windows, dealing damage to her. If you’re in a duel or a trio, of course, each one of you just sits in one of these windows and takes a shot from there, as there a good three to four window spots to shoot from this location.
As far as her attack goes, she’ll do basically two big attacks. One is the rocket barrage, which is much less dangerous. You can see them flying towards you, and after they land, they still take a solid few seconds before they even explode. If you have a terrible reaction time and it just blows up on you, you’ll still be good to go. You’ll just have to heal back to full.
Tackle Queen’s Laser Attack
The big danger, though, is the laser attack. This attack can kill you so fast that it will feel like a one-shot. When you see her activating it, immediately leave the window. You’ll have like a second or two to react. Do not overextend on this attack for like an extra shot, as it’s really not going to make that much of a difference. But you taking extra damage or even dying will definitely make a serious difference.
Shoot Her Body
As far as where you should shoot her in the body. She’ll technically die quicker if you destroy the legs or something along those lines, but it is a much harder shot. Dumping Hullcracker shots onto her face, door blocking the two entrances, and switching back and forth on these windows as you engage.
Hit the Weakpoints

I recommend that you stun the Queen first to deal more damage to the Queen. Use the Showstopper to stun the Queen for 10 seconds. Make sure to use the Snap Hook to jump on top of the Queen and hit the Head Core of the Queen.
