Casinos Officially Coming To GTA Online Next Week

Last month, Rockstar Games teased that “a luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood” is planned to come to Grand Theft Auto V’s Los Santos at a later date. Following the announcement, Rockstar updated the initial betting track that the casino is planned to replace the location on GTA Online with ongoing construction of the new entertainment hub.

A couple weeks later, Rockstar again teased that the approaching casino that will be held in the west side of the city will be labeled the Diamond Casino & Resort via Twitter.

Now this week, Rockstar Games released the official trailer for the newest addition to GTA Online which showcases slots, tables, and even off-track betting. Unlike the more recent Red Dead Redemption II offering Poker in the latest update for the title, The Diamond Casino along with Poker offers Blackjack, slot machines, and virtual horse betting. And in the lobby of the building players can spin the ‘Lucky Wheel’ to win prizes such as cash, chips, clothing, or even the displayed Thrax supercar.

Though most of the fun is held within the base of the soon to open casino, players can even take their spending to the top of the building with the selection of penthouses available to purchase. Varying from a catalogue of modern lofts, outdoor pools, and master bedrooms. The Master Penthouse that sits on the roof unlike the other rooms provides players with a bevy of benefits besides from owning the best housing in the entire resort.

Players who fork up the cash for the Master Penthouse receive a handful of additional services like aircraft & limousine packages, a personal spa, and VIP status within the casino. Owners can host parties that provide friended associates with the infinity pool, arcade machines, and even an media room to watch movies.

Master Penthouse owners are also welcomed into the Diamond Family which triggers a new selection of missions for players to take on with the casino’s owner Tao Cheng. Given from the trailer, Grand Theft Auto IV’s Brucie also makes a return to the series as he will also be helpful in the new missions.

In partnership with Twitch Prime, Rockstar detailed that subscibers who link their account to Rockstar Social Club will be able to collect the master Penthouse for free alongside receiving GTA$1.25M. Players have until the end of today, July 19^th, to do grab their freebies for being a Twitch prime member.

The Diamond Casino & Resort will be coming to LGTA Online on July 23^rd.
