Although fans are very adamant toward publisher Konami to utilize the Metal Gear & Silent Hill IPs, the Japanese firm in recent years continues to resume its efforts with the likes of Castlevania. Most notably is the titular Netflix series which received its fourth and final season this spring. Additionally, the collaboration did later on announce a new spin-off is in production which elaborates on a story featuring Richter Belmont & Maria Renard.

Even more, claims continue to circulate on a complete remake of the franchise in one string of rumors that surfaced more than a year ago. However, nothing has come to fruition from the claim. But, Konami has been spotted leaving questionable ratings for both Castlevania alongside Metal Gear Solid earlier on as well.

So far, the firm did deliver on the Castlevania Classic Collection back in 2019, but now that is to branch to newer releases. Over in Taiwan, a new rating has been uncovered for ‘Castlevania Advance Collection’, Gematsu reports. Notably, this is the first listing – after both Australia & Korea – which references consoles for the project.

In that, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC is rated for Castlevania Advance Collection. It is presumed that the project is to incorporate the three Castlevania titles which released uniquely on the Game Boy Advance, 2001’s Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, 2002’s Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, and 2003’s Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.

Although it appears that Konami is finally using its IPs through remastered initiatives, fans are interested to see new entries make its way to current systems. Originally, Konami planned to showcase its plans at E3 this past June, but the firm decided to retract its attendance shortly before the show. You can read the full report by heading here.
