Could New Rocksteady Job Listing Imply Upcoming Game Reveal For 2019?

Speculation surrounding Rocksteady Studios to reveal their next title after concluding their Batman Arkham trilogy back in 2015 have been circulating around for since then and as of yet, there is no clue when that will actually happen or a clear understanding if it will be based in the DC universe or their own IP.

Recently fans have discovered that a new position has opened up in the jobs listing page for the UK developer: Lead Brand Artist, Senior User researcher, and Promotional Artist. All three positions are focused for the studio’s marketing department with the objective for all three roles to help promote their upcoming title.

What this means is that if the three job listings have now appeared, that the studio is ready or at least preparing to get ready to reveal what they have been busy working on for the past few years under the curtains.

For what the title might be, we can go off the recent rumors that have been dug up until Rocksteady officially reveals their upcoming game. The most recent rumor revolves around the concept of the title to be set in the Batman’s shoes once again with the focus on the Court of Owls. The game was said to be revealed at this past Game Awards show, but we know that end up not happening.

Other rumors that have been more hopeful from impatient fans surrounded the idea of a Superman title by the Arkham developers, but following the studio’s absence at E3 2018 and later the studio denounced to be creating the title, we now know for sure it isn’t a man of steel game.

More speculation on when we could expect the game to fully release is looking towards other job positions that surfaced on the job listing page also. Which indicates that the requested roles are asking to help work “on the next generation platforms”.
