Developers have already created a version of Pokemon GO for HoloLens

David Robustelli and his team at CapitolaVR created a version of Pokemon GO for the HoloLens, announcing the project on his twitter showing footage of the game being used.

Microsoft have stated that having Pokemon GO on the HoloLens would be very beneficial for the use of the device. We can definitely expect Pokemon GO on the HoloLens when it officially comes out, alone with other games and apps.
How some features of Pokemon Go on the HoloLens would work would be questionable. Like how there have been numerous reports of Pokemon GO draining the battery of phones, so there is no question that would do the same for the HoloLens. And with that in mind, you wouldn’t be outside for long so it would be interesting how the App works when it releases.
And even if you’re playing Pokemon GO in VR, make sure your aware of your surroundings.
