Rebellion has officially released its newest Survival Action game, Atomfall on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It’s also available on Xbox Game Pass and currently, it’s unknown if it’ll release for the Nintendo Switch.
In our review for Atomfall, we mention how it’s not a Fallout clone and that it’s a must play game if you are a fan of survival games. The game isn’t too long and can be played however you’d like thanks to its leads system. Visually the game is stunning and hard to take your eyes off it.
Is Atomfall Multiplayer?
While the Sniper Elite developer has created online experiences for its previous games such as online co-op. Atomfall is a complete single-player experience and does not feature any type of multiplayer. Rebellion has not indicated if it will release a future update that will include this feature.
There isn’t enough content in Atomfall that would satisfy a multiplayer experience at least as of its launch. Rebellion does plan on releasing expansions for the game with one already revealed. Wicked Isle will be the game’s first Story DLC that will bring a new region to the game.
What Is Atomfall?
Atomfall is a 2025 first-person shooter set in an alternate history 1960s where the Windscale nuclear disasters turned much of Northern England into a radioactive quarantine zone. It’s your job to figure out who you are, what happened, and who to trust to get out of the zone.
