At E3 2016 Microsoft had announced that they will be bringing in a new featured called Arena, where Xbox gamers can create tournaments for their community whether it’s on Forza, Halo, Gears of War, and more. At today’s Microsoft Event they announced that fans can create tournaments on Windows 10 or on Xbox One, you can set the time, date, style, and game mode for your Arena Tournament. You will be able to do all of this in 2017.
Here is a photo of how it will look like on Windows 10:

Another thing that was noticed at the briefing was when they were talking about tournaments they showed a “spotlight section” of popular tournaments and a Halo Wars 2 Championship was spotted. We do not know if that is made by a user or something 343 has planned for the future. Take a look:

Our Take: Microsoft will be helping more community’s when it comes to tournaments as in today’s world there really isn’t many good tournament sites that stand out. With Arena mode coming to both Xbox and PlayStation I think it will help a lot.
