GTA V adds PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds style mode called Motor Wars

Three years since its original debut on current-gen consoles, Rockstar has delivered another huge update called Smuggler’s Run to GTA: Online, though that’s not why you’re exactly here reading the news. In this update, Rockstar introduced a new mode resembling the hugely popular Steam title PUBG titled Motor Wars as the studio describes as a “tense battle for survival” in which players scavenge weapons and battle inside a shrinking “kill box”.
“Blending the adrenaline rush of Drop Zone with the claustrophobic tension of a match of Penned In, this brutal Adversary Mode is a deadly scavenger hunt where second place is not an option (…) Up to four teams parachute into a periodically shrinking kill box strewn with a lethal assortment of guns, explosives and Weaponized Vehicles. Work together, find a vehicle, and fight opposing teams and the shrinking map to survive and win.”
The new update introduces new planes, new cars, new apparel and more. It’s now available on all platforms for free.
