Helldivers 2 has likely sold over 5 million units

Helldivers 2 from Arrowhead Studios has been a great surprise to the year right behind Palworld bringing a fresh gaming experience to the world. The game’s all-time peak on Steam is already better than Destiny 2 and Starfield with over 450K concurrent players a couple of weekends ago.

One of the unknowns about Helldivers 2 is the total amount of sales the game has made across PC and PlayStation 5, but known industry insider, Shinobi claims the game has sold “way more than” 5 million copies. This comes from a ResetEra thread where user Triggerhappytel predicts the game could definitely be at 5 million sold by now.

Shinobi says it’s way more than 5 million units.

Arrowhead confirmed they will never add a PVP mode to Helldivers as it reduces toxic elements from the gaming community.
