In the understanding of Kojima Productions next move, many are unsure as to what the firm is preparing to ship later on without certainty. However, there is more than one instance that Death Stranding is to find a sequel on the way. In 2021, lead Norman Reedus hinted a second game is in the works. And just recently Reedus again told that work on a second installment has already begun.
Additionally, there is word on Kojima Productions working in a closed agreement with Microsoft on a unique release for its platform. The report went on to reveal later that Hideo Kojima signed a letter of intent on the non-disclosed arrangement with the Xbox firm. It was later indicated that the title is to be part of the new initiative to deliver exclusive titles to xCloud streaming service as well.
This week, @_Tom_Henderson_ via Try Hard Guides reports that Kojima’s next title is a third-person, isometric horror title dubbed Overdose. While little is shared on the larger grasp for the game, footage that was uncovered from the leak unveils Margaret Qualley – Mama from Death Stranding – is starring in the new game.
With all things considered in the ongoing tale of Kojima Productions leaks, there is some legitimacy to this report. Namely due to the developer requesting the story be removed. However, the leaker declined to do so. “Kojima Productions have since asked for the publication of this report to be removed which we have declined.” Looking at the timing of things, there is hope Summer Game Fest will be the place to announced the game
Elsewhere regarding Kojima Productions, the firm officially announced its new music, television, and film division based in California. While it is no secret that Kojima wanted to pursue different mediums, what the firm is working on remains hidden currently. You can read the full report by heading here.
