Silk Soar in Hollow Knight Silksong is a unique ability that is unlocked from the Abyss in Act 3. This skill allows you to throw the needle upward and launch it to tremendous heights. You throw a needle upward to hit the surface above, and you get dragged to its location. Move to the right side of the Abyss and jump down to get Silk Soar.

What is Silk Soar in Hollow Knight: Silksong
Silk Soar in Hollow Knight Silksong is required to do various things, like unlocking far sights, mask shards, memory lockets, riddle tablets, and secret rooms. This skill is very important for mobility because it allows you to fling upwards. To unlock it, you must go to the Abyss map in Act 3. Press and hold the Harpoon skill button to use this ability.
The jump ability is charged up by pressing and holding the designated button. You will move above for a moment, and the small amount of silk will be used. So, make sure you have silk to use Silk Soar. Use this ability to unlock previously inaccessible regions and uncover new secrets in Pharloom.
How To Get Silk Soar
Travel to the Deep Docks and The Forge Daughter. Move to the leftmost side of Deep Docks and turn right to drop down and follow the path to the right. Continue moving till you get to the center of Deep Docks. Head to the Diving Bell. Continue your journey till you reach the Abyss Map.
Travel up to reach the location for Silk Soar. Make sure to explore the Abyss as you can’t return later. Once you’re ready to leave, return to the bell. The bell is missing, so you need to climb and run from the lava.
Move to the Southeast of the Abyss
You can unlock the Silk Soar or Super Jump ability from Weavenest Absolom in Act 3: Abyss. Complete the Silk and Soul quest to reach this point. Move to the southeast corner of the map to unlock this skill. This is available at the bottom of the level. Make your way to the east and keep running till you get to the platform from the bench available on the ground floor.
Collect Farsight Tool
Keep moving till you get to the locked door to the east. We recommend using Needolin to keep traveling to the east till you find yourself in Weavenest Absolom. Get your hands on the Farsight tool to see longer distances by going east.
Unlock Silk Soar
Now, you need to move west and drop twice. Move down onto the platform after going east. There, you can see a shrine, and interacting with it allows you to unlock Silk Soar in Hollow Knight Silksong.
